The event got rained out and into the local high school auditorium. Was it weird to be back in high school for a day? You bet. But oh, so much fun.

I joined Tucker Christine of DBSPress to sell some vampires stories at the largest book festival in South Jersey. My story, In Ink, In Blood, was featured in his Dracula Beyond Stoker magazine issue 1.5.

Not only did I get to hang out with Tucker and his lovely wife and meet some new people, but I got to mingle with some fellow authors, too!

Me and Tucker.

Fun fact: Tucker knows more about vampires in general and Dracula in particular

than anyone I've ever met.

Me and Wesley Southard.

Our festival table neighbor.

Me with Carol Gyzander and Hildy SIlverman.

Fun Fact: these ladies dig cryptids!

Me and Daemon Manx.

I was really looking forward to meeting this gentleman, and he turned out just as awesome as I suspected he might be :)

My buddy Ned came to see me :)

Fun fact: not only is Ned a great guy and a huge horror fiend, but he is also the frontman of the Philadelphia hardcore punk band, The Brood.

He is also a real life giant!
